🇫🇮

We woke up in Stockholm this morning. Doug had done some research for using a Hop On-Hop-Off boat to get around the city for the two days we're here. And a really good part of that plan was that we could catch it just a few feet from our ship.

There are two companies that provide this service. They make the same stops and cost the same. But, and it's a major but, the Green boats seem to have many more boats and therefore come much more often to each stop. We didn't know that when we bought the tickets and ended up on the Red boats. Oh well. We still had a beautiful day, even if it was raining and a bit chilly. We are together and enjoying each other's company.  😌

The day was 💨 cold, ☁️ cloudy, with intermittent☔️ rain. We started at the Vasa Museum. This is where a 1700's warship which sank not very long after it left the dock on its maiden voyage. It's massive and the top Stockholm tourist attraction. Doug and Heidi went into the museum and we found a coffee ☕️ cafe a few steps away with an Internet 💻 connection that allowed us to catch up on the blog.

After that we caught the boat for downtown and ended up at a 💰"too nice" 💰 restaurant for a very good lunch that would fill us up for the rest of the day.

By then, it was time to catch the last boat back to the ship. They start their last run at 4:00. Unfortunate because we did not have a boarding time for the ship. We could have stayed out all night - ha, ha.

Linda and I have started spending about 20 minutes in the jacuzzi before drinks and dinner. It's a hard life but someone has to do it. 👍🏻
