This farmer was spreading his grass clippings. Just spreading, nothing else. We thought he should have been doing additional functions. But, what do we know?
A massage for Linda first while I have an espresso at the cafe across the parking lot. A local woman starting talking to me. She told me about a large ship that had just recently been put in the water at Spakenburg. It was built by the Nazis but never completely finished. It is finished now and has been to Florida. Her family is from Spakenburg. We'll probably go over on Saturday for the market and to see the ship.
Then I had my massage and Linda had a manicure. After that, we were hungry and decided to take the bus back and eat at the Proef. But as we walked toward the main drag, we saw our bus go by. So, we started looking for somewhere to eat right there and immediately came across the Nostalgia Greek restaurant that used to be a bank.
We sat outside. Linda had Moussaka and I had Gyro pork meat. All very good along with a Greek beer.
Our young Greek waitress reminded us of our friend, Helena, in Athens. We asked about her family and she introduced us to her mother. The grandparents are in north Greece and are doing ok.
Later in the evening, I was mowing the yard and Liesbeth came over to see Linda. She said the kids were bored, so Linda told her to send them over. Noor came over almost immediately and she and Linda drew for over an hour. They were both working from the same picture of Robert and Cherry Lynn.
Not bad for a 10 year old.
