Off we go.
From a war memorial on one side of the road there is a view down a long row of trees to the royal palace where the king's grandmother lived. Can you see it?
Continuing down the road.
Don't know what this sign says.
You have to watch out for the bikes and bikes pulling friends.
This little guy was leading his mom,
while mom was holding a bottle to feed his brother.
Trains, trains, and more trains.
Sitting at a Baarn cafe watching the market vendors disassemble their displays.
French Fry Man.
We watched this guy, who sells vitamins, close up his trailer, position his van, and then using his remote controller, bring the trailer around and hitch it to his van without any manual labor. Great technique.
Have you ever seen a cheese specialist in the States?
On the way back to the train station, we always take the train back to Soest, Bill stops to checkout a slug. We don't see many slugs in the States. Or maybe we just don't go where they are.
We're always amazed at the number of bikes. This is the parking lot at the Baarn train station.
And, bikes at the Soestdijk train station.
Linda ends the day making gluten-free cookies with chia seeds. The artist at work.
