June 30:

Margareeth and Adri are neighbors and we get together occasionally. She is a good friend of Joke's and takes care of the plants when no one is here. We also learned that Adri mowed the lawn while we were in Italy. Today we had them over for a coffee. They insist it should only be coffee, no sweets. That makes preparation very simple. 

Even though we don't see them very often, we never have any problem coming up with subjects to talk about. They lived in Alberta when he was working for a gas company and they both speak very good English. They're also funny and we laugh alot. 

Its probably time to start building the Ark. Rain, rain, rain, everyday. So, we stay in and Noor comes over in the afternoon and produces some artwork on the iPad:



She tells us this is Einstein.








And this one is a happy octopus, of course.








The evening is spent watching dumb TV shows, but they're in English.
